Fourth of July Outfit

by

Happy Fourth of July everyone!

Finding the right outfit for Fourth of July can be a daunting task. The key is to find the perfect mix of patriotic colors without looking like you raided Uncle Sam’s closet. Instead of the cliché “denim shorts and American flag t-shirt” outfit most people will be rocking, opt for a more original outfit that incorporates your personal style.

I chose this striped dress from Potter’s Pot and paired it with red, white, and blue Bourbon & Boweties bracelets and a red purse.

For makeup, I started off with my Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation in shade 1N1. This foundation is my go-to during the summer because it’s light, full coverage, and stays on perfectly even through the sweltering  summer heat. Next, I used bronzer and highlight to achieve the perfect summer glow. Then I finished off my look with my Tart Tartelette in Bloom eyeshadow palette (shades funny girl, sweetheart, and rebel) and a swipe of my favorite red lipstick.

Wether you’re spending today at the beach or in someone’s backyard, I hope you all have an amazing day filled with family, fun, and lots of yummy food!

Sophia…this whole Independence get-up is adorable. I really hate the ugly 4th typical t-shirt. You did a great job creating a festive but not hoaky outfit…great job!!!
